Handmade by master artisans, this Tibetan singing bowl was carefully selected in Kathmandu from an absolutely stunning collection of carved bowls. Each bowl requires an incredible amount of time and skill to create, therefore this style is limited. Every piece is hand hammered and polished before being etched with extraordinary detail.
White Tara aka Saraswoti is associated with longevity. It is believed that White Tara counteracts illness and thereby helps to bring about a long life. She is portrayed seating in lotus position with the bottoms of her feet facing up. Her left hand holds a delightful blue lotus blossom and her right hand is stretched out to her knee in the mudra of sympathy. She has seven eyes representing her ability to see human hardships. The name Tara signifies "the person who recoveries" and she has the ability to reduce individuals from anguish.
Om Mani Padme Hum, the compassion mantra, and the auspicious symbol in this singing bowl invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
The base of the bowl displays a geometrical design based on the principles of sacred geometry. These designs are often used for meditation to connect on a deeper spiritual level.
